Work with Lehvel
Understand the business. Build what comes next.
Every organization has knowledge, processes, and systems that shape how it operates.
As technology changes, those systems don't always change together.
Lehvel works with organizations to investigate how their businesses actually operate, identify where technology can create meaningful improvements, and design and implement systems grounded in that understanding.
We begin with research. We build where the evidence supports it.
Five stages, in order.
How an engagement works
- 01
Investigate
Study the organization, its people, existing systems, information flows, and operational challenges.
- 02
Identify
Establish where information breaks down, workflows create friction, and technology could deliver measurable value.
- 03
Design
Define the appropriate strategy, architecture, and implementation scope.
- 04
Build
Where justified, design, integrate, and implement the necessary technology.
- 05
Verify and Transfer
Test the implementation, document results, and ensure the organization's people can understand and operate what was built.
These stages describe our approach. They are not a guarantee that every engagement includes every stage.
Four disciplines, one method.
What we work on
Each depends on the others. A workflow is only as reliable as the knowledge under it, and a system is only worth building if you can tell whether it worked.
- Business Knowledge & Information Architecture
- What the organization knows, where that knowledge lives, who can confirm it, and how it should be structured so people, software and AI agents can rely on it. This is where Business Truth starts.
- AI Strategy & Systems Engineering
- Deciding where AI belongs and where it doesn't, then designing the agents, workflows and orchestration that do the work, with a person responsible wherever judgment matters.
- Operational Systems & Integration
- Connecting the work to the CRM, ERP, accounting software, website and vendors already in place, so an improvement shows up in daily operations instead of in one more tool.
- Research, Measurement & Continuous Improvement
- Deciding what to measure before building, checking results against evidence, and feeding what we learn back into the organization's knowledge and into our methods.
The tools follow the problem.
Technology and implementation
Lehvel works with established AI models, software platforms, APIs, cloud infrastructure, and the business systems an organization already runs. We choose the model and the tooling for the job, and we connect to what's in place before proposing anything new. In fieldwork, that has meant work as specific as turning photographed vendor quotes into QuickBooks estimates.
Underneath the work is Lehvel's own software: the AI Observatory, Business Truth infrastructure, and orchestration and verification tools. They're how research findings become something an organization can implement, measure and maintain. What you're engaging is the expertise and the method, not a particular development tool.
Let's understand what you're trying to accomplish.
Tell us what you're working on, what isn't working, or what you're trying to understand.
We'll discuss the problem, determine whether Lehvel is a good fit, and identify an appropriate next step.
Some relationships begin with a focused investigation. Others develop into longer research and engineering engagements.
The scope comes from the problem, not a predefined package.
