Chiropractor marketing: search, reviews and new patients

2 min read · Updated

The short answer

Chiropractor marketing works when new patients can find the care they're looking for and trust what they read. Build pages for the services and common complaints you treat, keep health claims careful, state which insurance you take and what a first visit involves, and reply to reviews without confirming anyone is a patient.

  • The problem, in their words: back pain, neck pain, headaches, sports injuries.
  • Whether you take their insurance.
  • What happens on a first visit, and how long it takes.
  • Hours, including early and evening appointments.

Careful claims

Health claims about what treatment will fix are regulated, and state boards regulate chiropractic advertising. Describe what you treat and how you approach it. Leave out promised outcomes and cure language.

Reviews and privacy

Reply to every review, but in general terms. Confirming that a reviewer is a patient, or mentioning their care, can be a privacy problem. Thank them and invite them to call the office.

Questions

Is SEO worth it for a chiropractor?

For most practices, yes. New patients search locally, and the Google profile and reviews do much of the work.

Should I have a page per condition?

For the ones you treat often, yes, written carefully and without promising results.

Can I use patient testimonials?

With the patient's written permission, and without implying their result is typical.
