Lehvel connects over MCP, the open standard assistants use to reach outside tools. That means it is not tied to one company's product — if your assistant can add a connector, it can reach Lehvel. We have connected it ourselves in Claude and in ChatGPT; others that support MCP should work the same way, and we will say so here once we have tried them.
Sign in with an address you gave us.
Use an email address you gave Lehvel. It does not have to match the account you are signed into ChatGPT or Claude with — those are unrelated, and we never see it.
Most people run their assistant on a personal account and their business on a work address. That is fine and nothing needs to match — but the address you type has to be one we hold, because that is how we know which business is yours. If more than one address should work, tell us and we will add them.
Ask us. Tell your usual Lehvel contact which address to add or remove and we will do it — there is no self-service screen for this yet, and we would rather say so than point you at one that does not exist. Every address on the list can see and draft changes to your website — there is no view-only level yet, so keep it to people you would hand the keys to.

Connecting Lehvel to Claude

Open Claude and go to Settings. On a phone, that is your name or picture in the corner.

Find Connectors. It is the list of outside tools Claude is allowed to use.

Choose to add a custom connector — the option that asks you for a web address rather than picking from a list.

Paste the Lehvel address below into the address field and save it.

Leave “Requires sign-in” switched off. That switch is for servers that make you type in your own developer credentials — Lehvel does not. It handles the sign-in itself.

Press Connect. Lehvel will ask for your email and send you a six-digit code.

Type the code. That is the whole thing — you are connected.
Adding your own connector is not available on every Claude plan. If you do not see the option, that is the plan, not you.

If the wording doesn’t match
Then just ask for what you want.
There is no syntax and nothing to memorize. Say it the way you would say it to a person who works for you.
“What's on my website right now?”
“Add a page about the new service I'm offering.”
“Change my hours on the contact page.”
“Write a blog post about what we did for a customer this week.”
“What have you got going for me?”
Lehvel confirms it has your request, works it, and tells you in the same conversation when there is something to look at.
What connecting it does not give away.
It only sees your businesses
You sign in on a Lehvel screen with your own email. Your assistant never sees your password, because there isn't one, and it never sees anyone else's business.
It can't spend your money or contact your customers
No payments, no invoices, no emails or messages to the people on your list. Those are not things it can reach.
You can disconnect whenever you want
Remove the connector in your assistant's settings and the access is gone. Your site and your work are unaffected.
Don't want to do any of that?
You do not have to use an AI assistant to work with Lehvel. Ask for what you need the way you already do, and we will take it from there — the connector is a convenience for people who already live in ChatGPT or Claude, not a requirement.
