How to get more Google reviews without breaking the rules
To get more Google reviews, ask every customer right after the job, with a direct link.

The most useful customer reviews name the job, the person and a detail: "Dana fixed our leaking water heater the same afternoon and explained what failed." Customer reviews like that help the next customer decide, and give search engines and AI assistants something specific. You can't write them for customers, but you can ask in a way that invites detail.
These are made-up examples of the shape, not real reviews: "Came out Sunday for a burst pipe, had it fixed in an hour, and cleaned up everything." "Maria talked me out of a full color change and she was right." "The quote matched the invoice to the dollar."
Ask with a hint: "If you mention what we did and who came out, it helps other people nearby." Ask every customer, and never write, edit or pay for a review.
Suggest what to mention. Don't hand them words to paste; reviews must be their own.
No. They still count. Detailed ones just do more for the next reader.
