How to check what ChatGPT says about your business
To check what ChatGPT says about your business, open a Temporary Chat or a logged-out browser and ask what a customer would: "best plumber in [town]", "is [your business] open Sundays".

You can't edit what ChatGPT says, but wrong information about your business almost always comes from a source it read: an old directory listing, an outdated page on your site, your Google profile. Find that source, correct it, and ask again after a few weeks. It's fixed when a later answer stops repeating the mistake.
Fix it at the source and at every copy you can find. One corrected listing sitting next to three wrong ones may not change the answer.
The thumbs-down in ChatGPT sends feedback to OpenAI. It doesn't correct anything about your business. Ask again in a few weeks, worded the same way, and keep the old answer to compare.
OpenAI takes privacy requests about personal data, but there's no form for correcting business details. Changing the sources is what works.
Usually an old listing, or holiday hours that were never taken down.
Make your name, town and what you do unmistakable on your site and listings, and check whether the other business's details have crept onto your listings.
