Someone edited my Google Business Profile. What happened?
If someone edited your Google Business Profile, it was a member of the public suggesting a change, Google updating details from other sources, or another manager on the profile.

To delete a Google Business Profile, sign in, open the profile's settings and choose to remove it. That removes your management of it, but the business listing can stay on Google Maps. If you've closed, mark the business permanently closed instead. If you've moved or sold, update or transfer the profile rather than deleting it.
Removing a profile from your account ends your control of it. It doesn't necessarily remove the place from Maps: Google may keep the listing, and anyone can suggest edits to it. Deleting is rarely what an owner wants.
