Get your catalog out of the PDF.
If you sell building materials, Jason's advice is to take every PDF, catalog and spec sheet you have and turn it into text a machine can read.
By machines he means assistants like ChatGPT and Claude. They go back and read whatever they can find, and a product line locked inside a PDF is easy for them to miss.
For the building supplier we work with, we built an MCP server so assistants can read its product data directly, and submitted it to ChatGPT's app directory. Jason says the supplier started showing up ahead of companies that have spent far more on digital, and ahead of some manufacturers for their own products.
His order of work: get the technical data online first, then structure it so buyers can get to it as easily as the assistants can. It is not easy, but it goes faster than most owners expect once it gets rolling.
That is the work we do. We organize the data, present it carefully for people and make it readable for AI.
Or tell us what’s stuck.
Jason reads every request and replies by email.
