Restaurants

Turn locations, menus, hours and availability into a trusted layer for guests and AI agents.

Business Truth / Operational Truth / Agent Readiness

Make your restaurant usable by AI agents.

For restaurant groups, multi-location operators, breweries and brewpubs, hospitality groups and independents. Guests are starting to let AI search, compare and book for them. Lehvel keeps your locations, menus, hours and next steps accurate across the web and AI, so the answer about your restaurant is the right one.

The guest's question

“Find an Italian restaurant near me with a table for four at 7:30 tonight, gluten-free options and parking.” That's one sentence to a guest. To an AI assistant it's six facts, and most of them live in different places.

Your menu is only one part of the answer

A menu says what you make. An AI agent acting for a guest also has to know:

  • Which location the guest means, and whether that location serves it.
  • When: brunch, dinner, the bar menu, the kitchen's last order.
  • Whether the dish is still offered, or sold out tonight.
  • Whether you're open at the time the guest wants to come.
  • Whether you can take the request: the party size, the diet, the private room.
  • What happens next: your reservation page, your ordering page, or a person.

What's changing

AI assistants are starting to find tables and order food for guests, through the reservation and ordering systems restaurants already use. They also answer the questions before the booking: which location is open, what's on the menu, whether there's parking. When the facts disagree, the assistant has to pick one, and it doesn't always pick yours.

Why restaurant information comes apart

One location, many copies. Your hours and menu are on your site, your Google profile, two or three delivery apps, a reservation listing and social. Each is edited separately, and a holiday change reaches some of them.

The menu moves faster than the listings. A new seasonal menu goes into the POS today. The PDF on the site, the Google menu and the delivery apps catch up when someone remembers.

Sold out is held in each system. When the kitchen runs out, the POS knows, the ordering app may know, and nothing else does. A guest's assistant reading the menu tonight can't tell.

Some facts live in nobody's system. Private dining capacity, parking, the step at the entrance, which location takes large parties. They're true, and they're nowhere an assistant can read.

More locations, more drift. Every location multiplies the copies. A restaurant group can be right at one door and wrong at the next.

In one Lehvel audit of a New Mexico brewery, eight sources showed four different sets of hours and two street addresses, and an AI assistant asked about the town answered with Carlsbad, California.

Three kinds of restaurant truth

Location truth. Each location's address, hours, holiday hours, phone, parking, accessibility and which services it runs: dinner, brunch, the bar, private dining, catering.

Menu truth. What each location serves, during which service, with descriptions, options, published prices and the dietary statements you make, each with its source.

Operational truth. What changes during service: a dish sold out tonight, the tables open at 7:30. Stated only from a current reading of your own systems, with the time it was read.

Dietary and allergen questions

Guests ask assistants about gluten, nuts and dairy before they ask anything else. The safe rule is simple. An assistant may repeat what you state about a dish, in your words, with your kitchen's caveat. It never says a dish is safe for an allergy, and it never treats silence as “free of.” Allergy questions end with a person on your staff.

One request, five steps

Take the table for four. For your restaurant to be the answer, five things have to be true.

What Lehvel does

One record of every location. Addresses, hours, holiday hours, services, parking, accessibility and how to reserve or order, kept consistent on your site, Google and the AI assistants guests use. We call it Business Truth.

Menus AI can read. Each location's menu by service, with descriptions, options, published prices and dietary statements, read from the systems you already use, each with its source.

Service facts with a time on them. Sold-out items and open tables, answered only from a current reading of your own systems. An old reading becomes “ask the restaurant,” and a missing one is never “full.”

You decide what's public. Each fact is public, on request, or internal. Your reservation and ordering links are the ones you choose.

A check on what AI actually says. We ask ChatGPT, Claude, Gemini and Perplexity about your locations, hours, menu and reservations, and compare their answers with your record.

A controlled way to ask. One action: a request about a large party, private dining or catering, sent to the right location for a person to answer. It never books a table, places an order or takes a deposit.

What Lehvel doesn't touch

Your restaurant systems. Lehvel isn't a POS, a reservation book, an ordering platform, a delivery service or a menu provider. It reads from them, under your permission.

Payments and bookings. Reservations, deposits, orders and payments stay with the systems you already run.

Food safety. Lehvel relays your allergen and dietary statements. Whether a dish is safe for someone is your staff's call, every time.

What's live and what isn't

Live today. Websites, search presence, checks of what the major AI assistants say about a business, and one managed record of the business behind it.

Building. The restaurant record: menus by location and service, dietary statements with their caveats, service hours with holiday exceptions, sold-out items and open tables with the time they were read, read-only answers for AI assistants, and a private dining or large-party request that lands with the right location. We want one restaurant group to build it with first.

Not on the table yet. Booking a table, joining a waitlist, placing an order or taking a deposit through an AI assistant via Lehvel. Today the assistant is sent to your own reservation or ordering page.

We can't promise that any assistant will send a guest to your door. We can make sure that when one asks, your restaurant has a correct, current answer and a way to take the next step.

Restaurant groups, breweries, independents and hospitality groups

Restaurant groups and multi-location operators. Every location's hours, menu and policies kept the same everywhere, so one wrong listing doesn't send a guest to a closed door.

Breweries and brewpubs. Taproom hours and kitchen hours are different facts. So are the tap list, the food menu and whether you take reservations.

Independents. One location, said once and said right: the menu, the hours, the reservation path and the details guests ask about.

Hospitality groups. Several concepts under one roof, each with its own menu, services and private dining, and one record behind them.

Questions

Do we need to replace our POS, reservation or ordering system?

No. Lehvel reads what they already say, under your permission, and keeps the facts guests ask about consistent everywhere else.

Can a guest's AI assistant book a table through Lehvel?

Not through Lehvel. Today an assistant is sent to your own reservation page. Booking through an assistant would run through your reservation system, with your opt-in, and isn't offered yet.

Will an AI assistant say we're full when we aren't?

Not from Lehvel. Open tables come only from a current reading of your reservation system. With no current reading the answer is “ask the restaurant,” never “full.”

How does Lehvel handle allergen questions?

It repeats what you state about a dish, in your words, and tells the guest to confirm with your staff. It never says a dish is safe for an allergy.

We're one restaurant, not a group. Does this apply to us?

Yes. The problems are the same at one location: hours, menu, diet questions and the reservation path, said consistently everywhere.
